The space

In the heart of the posh 7th arrondisement the sleek white apartment is a tasteful mix of classic and modern living. Two generous size bedrooms, a spacious bathroom that features double sinks, a soaking tub and a separate glass shower and the living room complete a floor plan of more than 750 square feet that are all conveniently situated on the fourth floor of a handsome building with a lift. French doors abound throughout the apartment. They provide a wonderful way to let in tons of sunlight. The living room is grand in scale and features a fireplace. The dining area is poised for memorable dinner parties and features a convenient serving console. Views from some of the many windows include the ultimate Parisian landmark the Eiffel Tower as well as the exquisite landscaping as seen from the private compounds in the area.

The Apartment

It's been twenty years since I left Paris. Ready to take on all the U.S. had to offer. And, I did! Degrees from Harvard and Columbia, a successful assent in my career, full partner in the firm before I was 35. Park Avenue Penthouse, housekeeper, a private chef, all the trappings of success. And now, the chance of a lifetime to head up the European division right here in Paris. I need a home that not only says I've made it… I need a home in a prestigious neighborhood that's sophisticated, charming, and desirable. In fact, I want a home so splendid I'll have to pinch myself to make sure it's not just a dream! That's it I'm going to rent the two bedroom St. Germain Luxury apartment in the 7th arrondisement. I can't think of a better place that says, "I've arrived"!

If you are using our complimentary private car service from any Parisian airport or train station for your arrival, your English speaking driver will wait for your party outside the Customs doors, or at the end of the relevant train platform, bearing a sign indicating your name. He will then call us upon your departure from the airport/train station so that your greeter can time the meet up at the apartment to your arrival. Your greeter will then meet you at the apartment directly, show you the apartment, collect final payment, and give you the keys.

The neighborhood

Rive Gauche, Left Bank of the River Seine or 7th arrondisement, whatever you call it it's home to the Eiffel Tower, Hotel des Invalides (Napoleon's resting place), Musee d'Orsay, Musee Rodin, Musee du Quai Branley and Musee del'Armee (the largest military museum in the world), just to name a few. The 7th has long been home of the French aristocracy and upper classes since the 17th Century. The oldest and most prestigious families of the French nobility built outstanding residences in the area. Architectural wonders like Hotel Matignon, Hotel de Salm, and Hotel Biron. So, it's no surprise that today, the 7th is home to embassies, the French National Assembly and numerous government ministries. Let's not forget that the 7th is far more than just history and pomp. Maybe it's a luscious crumble that you desire! If that is the case then you should head straight to Les Deux Abeilles. Other notable restaurants and cafes include Les Cocottes, La Fontaine de Mars, and Arpege Restaurant, all perfect for dining and people watching. There are more open markets in the 7th than anywhere else in Paris if you choose to put that beautiful kitchen to good use. A must visit on Wednesdays and Saturdays is the open market at Pont de l'Alma. Merchants from the French countryside come to sell pate, local wines, cheeses, fresh flowers, fish, baked goods and even escargots. The 7th is also a fashionistas dream come true. From couturiers on Avenue Montaigne and Rue du Faubourg St. Honore to fresh and hip designers off the Boulevard St. Germain there is something for everyone. And, if your home needs a little something special check out CFOC, an Asian concept store that features fabrics, objects and tableware.

The nearest Metro station  is Metro "Rue du Bac" line 12.

Fantastic Enclave in Amazing Central Neighborhood

We loved staying at this gorgeous top floor apartment with period details. Situated in a charming private enclave (Passage). The neighborhood has all the amenities one could ask for from bars to grocery shops, cafes to upscale dining, many boutiques and designer stores as well. The apartment has a super cool balcony with views of the Eifel Tower. Very cool to watch the tower light up at night form the privacy of the living or bedroom. the location is great for walking or taking the metro. The kitchen is stocked with everything one would need to cook or host a small dinner. The laundry worked very well. The apartment is filled with charm. We loved our stay here.

Fantastic, secure, quiet, inner city apartment with Eiffel tower view

What a fabulous stay we had in this 4th floor (top level) apartment while travelling with our 15 year old daughter for a week long stay in Paris. Bernard's team picked us up from Charles De Gaulle airport and transferred us to the apartment where we were greeted by Phil who showed us around and gave us some good tips for the week. The apartment is a generous size with a nice main bedroom (double bed) and a separate single bedroom which also has a laundry (washing machine + dryer) discreetly tucked away in a cupboard, there are two bathrooms - one with a shower and one with a bath and both have toilets. The apartment is very clean, neat, light and authentic - you are stepping into the life of some real art lovers. All the amenities work well. From the small balcony you have a partial view of the Eiffel tower - you can see the part above the second level, but it is still spectacular - especially at night when fully lit and with the rotating spotlight. It was quite hot in Paris in late June when we were there (high twenties and into the thirties) and we were able to enjoy some lovely breezes when we opened up the windows - and this did not make it noisy as the apartment is in a secluded, quiet location (difficult to achieve in such a busy, closely built city). The internet works perfectly and there are all sorts of TV channels (but we weren't doing much channel surfing while there). The position of this unit is also excellent - it is in a secure area and we always felt very safe, once outside the secure gate the Rue De Bac Metro is about 250 metres away which opens up access to the whole city. But it is quite close to some of the major attractions like the Louvre and the Tuileries gardens, Rodin's museum and the D'Orsay. There are plenty of small restaurants, bakeries/patisseries and supermarkets within close walking distance. Any downsides? Probably the only thing is the small elevator - it really is small and quaint - it adds a genuine touch and it works fine but entry is difficult and we only used it when we had bags or were very tired, otherwise we just took the stairs (make sure you turn the lights on as the circular stairwell is quite dark). A final note and thank you to Bernard who accommodated our arrival and departure wishes and even came to say goodbye to us and help us on our way when we were running short of time one our departure day. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Left Bank Flat

This place was perfect for us and our granddaughter. The location was very quiet, and we loved the private entrance. The area was clean and had stores and restaurants very close by. The old elevator was a kick. The view of the Eiffel Tower from the deck was a bonus. Joseph the manager met us upon our arrival and was very helpful with explaining the flat and the surrounding area. The flat was nicely decorated, clean, and had all the amenities we needed and we would stay there again.
